This notice explains how Harrison Dane, operating PercentileX from California, United States, handles your personal data. Harrison Dane is the data controller, meaning we decide how and why your personal data is processed.

Data we collect and why

• Account data (email address, password credentials, sign-in provider) — to create and secure your account (contract).
• Stats you enter (age, sex, salary, savings, net worth, credit score, fitness measurements, height, weight, body fat, education details), goals, and saved progress history — to provide comparisons, scores, graphs, and goals (contract).
• AI requests — when you request Plus insights or goal suggestions, selected tracker values, age/sex, and goals are sent to our AI provider to generate a response (contract).
• Subscription status — plan, renewal, and status information received from Paddle to unlock Plus features (contract).
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser details, logs) — for security, fraud prevention, and fixing problems (legitimate interests).
• Support messages — to answer your questions (legitimate interests).

We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

Who we share data with

• Service providers that host our app, database, and authentication, and that run AI features, acting on our instructions.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
• Authorities, where required by law.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account or it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and object to certain processing. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, access controls, and per-user data restrictions. No system is perfectly secure.

Cookies and local storage

We use only essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences like light or dark mode and your latest insights. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear this storage in your browser settings, but you may be signed out.

Children

PercentileX is not intended for anyone under 16.
